WHAT
Transcend is a day to night dance party exploring the idea that our identities can be transcended through awareness practices that connect us with a deeper sense of oneness and self-discovery.
This interactive session will get you to engage in discussions with others about the ego and practices to dissolve it. These conversations intend to connect us to the freedom and joy that comes with letting go of our egos and connecting with others in meaningful conversations, dance and sharing food and drink.
Beware that the music is not commercial and can cause wild spastic wiggling. Sonic alchemy by Mantravine, Tom Shellsuit, Yetpet and open jam session with lighting by Jaymi McManus.
$5 of every ticket goes to Voices of Children in Ukraine to aid kids going through war trauma. Lineup will be sent to ticket holders. Let’s Transcend Together in a supportive and uplifting environment. See you there!

YETPET
Yetpet’s adventure through sound, noise and heavy basslines was raised and rooted in one of Asia’s most iconic underground spaces. From dancing to their favourite DJs to playing alongside them, yetpet is now red-lining a dirty blend of loaded, syncopated percussions and gritty basslines held down by dancehall, afrobeat, hard drum, acid and leftfield bass.
TOM SHELLSUIT
Tom Shellsuit (Sideshow/ Pushin'On) Shellsuit has been collecting records and DJing for over 18 years. Originally from Scotland, he now lives in Singapore, where he is a DJ and promoter for Pushin’On (the first night in Singapore dedicated to soul and funk music) and Sideshow (creators of popular daytime party, Sunday at the Training Shed). Known for playing freestyle sets that incorporate a wide range of styles and sounds, DJing has taken him all over the world including countries as diverse as Scotland, Holland, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Bosnia and Estonia. The list is sure to grow as he continues to build his reputation as a well-rounded DJ and party-rocker. Notable shows; Summerdaze Festival 2015, Ghostface & Raekwon 2014, Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Festival (Singapore) 2012 and 2011, Zoukout 2011, Good Vibrations Festival 2010. Shared the stage with; Ghostface & Raekwon (Wu-Tang), DJ Kentaro, Mr Thing, Chris Karns, Peanut Butter Wolf (Stones Throw Records), Shortkut, Tony Touch, Crazy Legs, Neil Armstrong, Monk One, Skinnyman & Mud Fam, Rodney P, Jehst, Taskforce, Ritchie Ruftone, Plus One, Music Man Miles (Breakestra), and many more.
MANTRAVINE
Mantravine is a tribe of sonic alchemists mixing shamanic rhythms with world music, live instruments and psychedelic dance grooves. They evoke a primal dancing spirit with ancient mantras, electrifying guitar, funky horns and organic frequencies.
Fresh off the boat from Wonderfruit festival in Thailand they’ve also played in New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Hawaii, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Serbia & Montenegro.
JAYMI MCMANUS
Jaymi is a Singapore-based new media artist experienced in stage and set design, projection mapping, live visuals and lasers. Having dedicated over seven years and more into collaborations with musicians, promoters, brands and local art institutions, he is also a massive advocate and supporter of his local nightlife and entertainment scene.
